Blogging is making a comeback—or so they say. While, for me, it never really went away (I've been writing about fashion here for years!), but I get why many people drifted from traditional blogs. When RSS readers fell out of favour, shorter, bite-sized content took over, with visuals that were quick, easy, and endlessly scrollable. Blogs started to feel outdated, and much less fun.
But the trending soundbites and surface-level content is starting to wear thin. More of us are looking for a deeper connections and more meaningful conversations—something that isn't just noise to keep us distracted while we're bored or procrastinating.
With Substack, blogs and newsletters are having a revival. Long-form content is making its way back into people’s lives, offering value that’s hard to find in quick clips or captions. Whether it’s in-depth fashion articles, personal essays on trends, or niche insights into style, readers are craving substantial, thought-provoking content from a personal perspective—and a community where real conversations can had.
So while short-form content still has a firm grip on the internet, there’s no denying the growing appreciation for old-school blogging—the kind where personal experience outweighs follower counts. And for those of us who never gave up on the value of a well-crafted blog post, it’s time to rejoin the conversation!

Substack is a space where I can share the kind of topics that don’t always make it to the blog: hot takes about current trends and unpopular opinions about fashion. Along with daily outfits, thrift finds, and perfume reviews. It’s the perfect spot for content that feels more immediate and conversational, giving us a chance to actually talk about fashion.

So, why the move?
Substack gives me the freedom to write articles that are less polished but just as meaningful. It’s a chance to share my honest thoughts about current fashion in real-time—like discussing the good, the bad, and the baffling when it comes to trends, or reflecting on what makes a capsule wardrobe truly work. Plus, it’s an easy way for you to keep up with everything, whether you’re here for capsule wardrobe advice, jewellery tips, or trending topics.
I’m excited to create a space where we can connect more directly and personally. I hope to see you there!
