Jack surprised me with a trip to Wales for my birthday. He booked an overnight stay at Wright's cottages and planned a trip to Aberglasney Gardens and the National Botanic Garden of Wales, which is home to the world's largest single-span glasshouse.
On a sunny summer's day, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is the perfect place to visit; you can spend hours exploring the grounds and gardens which are stunning. There's an apothecary garden, aqualab, double walled garden, art gallery, lake, ghost forest, and bee garden along with ongoing projects and a tropic greenhouse, which was my favourite.
