Belfast Castle is lovely.. but it's tiny. It's more like a fancy stone house. I come from Kent, which has thirty-two castles so I was always going to be tough to impress. Belfast Castle does have one thing I've never seen before, a cat garden! A legend states Belfast Castle will always be safe so long as there is a white cat residing there and so this myth led to the creation of the cat garden with nine hidden (stone, topiary, and mosaic) cats.
