Exploring the Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum (which sits on the same grounds) was by far the best part of our mini-break in Northern Ireland. The Botanic Gardens was established in 1828 and is home to tropical plants, hanging baskets, seasonal displays, and some of the oldest seed plants; the plant houses were beautiful and a joy to explore.
